FUNNEL TABLE

For meeting or dining. The starting point for the Funnel table was the communication and relationship between two people sitting at opposite ends of the table focusing on how to improve the energy, flow, and connection between them.

Base: Wood or lacquered finish.
Tabletop: Wood, glass, or marble.
Size: 220 x 90 cm and more.

Watch for Frømandskorpset (Frogman Corps) the Naval Special Operations Force in the Danish Military.

I have designed a series of upholstered furniture that is contemporary but with references to the past. It is a mix of a feeling from a summer house, the seats in my mother’s car from the '70s, and inspiration from some of the upholstered furniture that I admire.

I want the furniture to stand out with completely clear forms. Boxes put together. It is the relationship and proportions between the boxes that make it interesting and characterful. The boxes have rounded corners to create a welcoming feeling.

The simple shapes stand out clearly with a solid-coloured fabric, but they are also well-defined when using checkered or patterned fabric. The perception of the furniture can change radically from calm to fun, nostalgic, or eclectic, depending on the choice of fabric.

Complete renovation of an iconic Arne Jacobsen villa, featuring a newly designed pool area. The modern pool and terrace area were created in harmony with the property's original modernist lines and historical state.

From 1990 to 1992, I worked as a designer at David Lewis Design in Copenhagen. During this period, I designed exclusively for Bang & Olufsen, contributing to iconic products such as the Beosound 9000 and Beosound Century. Working alongside David Lewis on these projects was a highly valuable experience.

The balance between the functionally disrupted geometric funnel shape, proportions, and the play of light and shadow on the surfaces is a key factor in my design.

The lamp casts a directional downward light, while the top portion acts as a reflector to spread a soft, ambient light throughout the room.

The coffee table explores communication between two people – about listening and being heard.

With a background in both design and psychotherapy, I use this dual perspective to shape everyday concepts into three-dimensional stories.

The design relies on geometric shapes brought together into a calm, sculptural object, aiming to create an honest and emotional connection with the user.

Base: Wood, lacquered, stainless steel.
Size: 120 x 50 cm (and more).
Options: Also available as a side table.

The Oktopus Moonlite case is made in the translucent  ALW (Alloy Linde Werdelin). The material changes colour from the surroundings like an octopus. Among its properties, it is more than twice as hard as steel and half the weight of titanium, making the Oktopus MoonLite the lightest Linde Werdelin timepiece ever made, weighing in at an impressive 62,5 grams.

Helix is a floor, wall and ceiling lamp series.

The recurring and recognizable design element of the Helix lamps is the spiral.

The spiral is a fascinating shape. I love the repetition, the flexibility, retro but relevant, references to nature and life, it's fun and mysterious and I want to interact with it.

The function of the spiral for the Helix lamp is that it contains electric wire and it makes it possible to adjust the height of the light.

I live and work near Faxe Limestone Quarry; a geological wonder and the remains of a gigantic coral reef that once lay at a depth of 200 meters 65 million years ago. Here, I collect Faxe marble — a residual material from industrial limestone production — which I process and use as the foundation for the works I create in my studio.

My wish is to work with these pure natural materials to explore how they can convey stories about the depth of time and the human relationship with nature. The lamp is handmade by me in my own studio. I am currently working on a series of lamps and other objects where Faxe marble constitutes the central, material focal point.

GO LIGHT

Portable LED lamp project.

GO LIGHT is a portable LED lamp that is compact and protected when on the go. You fold it out by pulling up the top. The more you pull the wider the light cone becomes. The top can be tilted to direct the light.

There are a lot of small LED lamps that are moveable, but not really portable. Using the LED and battery technology we have available today GO LIGHT is a lamp you can bring or pack to the garden, the boat, the summer house, camping, enjoying the sunset or simply just move easily around.

Main focus has been on designing the lamp in a sculptural, simple expression both when opened and closed, fitting in private and public spaces as well. The GO LIGHT can stand alone but also in a group. The design aims to have a positive and friendly expression and with a reference to a classic table lamp.

The material proposal would be in aluminium, steel and/or plastic.

The height is around 18 cm when closed and 28 cm when open.

Is the fallen narcissist's chair.

The narcissist can no longer see his reflection in the collapsed surface. The chair is hollow, uncomfortable, noisy, cold and unpleasant, only a shell remains.

There is a growing number of narcissists in the world and there is not much focus on their impact on families and society. It has previously been thought that the diagnosis was only due to growth or neuron divergence. Society celebrates the individual and we are measured on results - not on who we are. We focus on the outside, bask in social media.

The Cube lamp consists of two geometric shapes.

My wish is that it can blend in

everywhere. In a restaurant, a hotel, a

bar, the home and that it works well with

several lamps in the same room.

The proportions between the simple shapes,

the material, light and shadow and the

surfaces have been my focus.

The calm design language allows for

varying materials and colors. It could,

for example, be made in plastic, metal,

ceramics or even recycled plastic.

The on/off function is simple to operate.

It will be possible to design it so that

the light can be dimmed. The shape allows

for large battery capacity and ample

weight at the bottom. The lamp is easy to

grip.

Charging with USB C plug and it is

possible to make a charger system for

several lamps.

This wall-mounted installation consists of a simple funnel, open at both ends, which frames the blank wall behind it. By looking into the device, the viewer is invited to engage in the act of doing nothing a state of mind traditionally associated with day-dreaming, boredom, or mental rest.

In a contemporary context, these unstructured moments are increasingly rare. Modern technology and social media platforms are designed to capture and hold our attention, constantly filling every pause with digital stimuli. This piece serves as a physical reminder and a quiet commentary on the value of looking into the empty space. It suggests that disconnecting and allowing ourselves to do nothing is not a waste of time, but a vital necessity for reflection and mental well-being.

"Alien Trophy" is a family of 3 small alien creatures that I brought home from my trip to an planet far, far away. Today they are used as side tables, trophies and proof of my adventure, courage and power. I call it New Colonial Style.

“New colonial style”

With "Alien Trophy", I want to make a reference to earlier colonization. Where extremely wealthy and powerful people sailed out into the world to conquer new territories. Today, extremely wealthy and powerful people build spaceships and travel into space. In 2035 they will land on Mars and it will probably be a private person and his rocket. And what happens then?

"Less And More" is a dialogue between 2 identical contours where values, materials and form separate them. Marble was formed hundreds of millions of years ago and symbolizes wealth, promptness and splendour, plywood is a cheap industrial material that was created by man in the 40s.

FLOWER CHAIR

I want to design a chair that invites you to sit in it. A chair that has a positive and calming appeal, and easy to understand.

A chair that opens up to sitting in different positions and that holds you.

The chair is designed using simple geometric shapes. For now I would like to stay open to choice of material: wood, metal, biofibre, plastic, upholstery, etc. It is possible to design a version with an armrest and a lounge chair version.

The helix symbolizes continuity, evolution, and the interconnectedness of life with its ups and downs.

It represents personal growth, transformation, and a connection to the divine or the universe. Combining helixes symbolizes sharing life together.

"Space Trophy" are 3 objects that I brought home from my trip to an alien planet.

Some years ago, I moved to Vemmetofte in Denmark, which is located in a triangular area between Stevns Klint, Møns Klint, and Faxe Limestone Quarry. Both Stevns Klint and Møns Klint are UNESCO World Heritage sites.

All three locations were formed 63–70 million years ago when Denmark was covered by the sea. In Faxe Limestone Quarry, I can find materials to create objects. Faxe Limestone Quarry was once a massive coral reef. Back then, the climate was subtropical. The first humans arrived in Europe approximately 60,000 years ago.

I find it incredibly interesting that we are now standing on the brink of a new natural disaster—one that, this time, is man-made.

Once again, I want to work with the concept of time. What is 63 million? What is 60,000 years? Where are we in relation to nature, to each other, and to the planet? There is a massive energy in a piece of limestone that is 63 million years old, in an age where everyone and everything is expected to be updated, informed, and "on."

I want to work with the materials that lie right at my feet in Faxe Limestone Quarry. I don’t know yet where it will lead, but I know it will lead to something.

WHO AM I ”is about feeling different and having a sense of otherness. Not being a part of a group because of that. The theme is fundamental, cultural, universal and timeless for all beings. Everyone has the right and need for acceptance and understanding - no matter what and why.

If everything goes wrong and I can only bring one thing with me when I escaped into my small boat to sail out to a desert island - I would for sure grab a MOMO.

I could stand on it when I picked coconuts. Place my little talisman in the square space, sit on it by the fire, hide behind it when I got scared stiff, and cling myself to it as I tried to swim ashore on another possible desert island to happily be reunited with the rest of my family.

We have made 5 of them, so there is one for each family member. It is named after our dog, who unfortunately has to stay at home because she doesn’t like water.

The Spido watches are designed for activities in the mountains. With focus on weight reduction by removing as much material as possible but still keeping the strength in the construction. This gives a iconic design and provides a great comfort to the watch. All Linde Werdelin watches have the same outer case dimensions and strap system.

100 HOURS OF ENGRAVING TRANSFORMED THE OKTOPUS DOUBLE DATE ROSE GOLD INTO THIS OKTOPUS REEF

The dive universe was the inspiration for the engraving. Coral-and-bubbles scene on the Oktopus Reef’s case create a living undersea environment for our octopus on the dial.

The Oktopus Reef is a new take on the Oktopus Double Date Rose Gold. The engraving was performed by Johnny Dowell, meticulously applied by hand, a process that took up to 100 hours.

The Crazy Universe gets lost in the stars. I wanted a space theme to reflect the moonphase of the watch. In discussing the project, Johnny Dowell and I found that marvelling at the wonders of space was a shared passion. I revealed a childhood fascination with learning about the universe: “As a child I even dreamed of being an astronaut. Even though people are exploring space there is such mystery contained within it, wondering what else could be discovered. To create a space theme was an obvious extension of the watch’s moonphase complication, and it was a delight to discover space was a passion for Johnny too.

The Titanium Grade 5, is an infamously challenging case material, with an intricate blend of satin, polished and microbillé finishing to create a stunning interplay of light reflections, heightening the photorealistic moons in the iconic in-house complication against its royal blue backdrop.

The beautiful creation is a result of long hours of meticulous hand-finishing of every single facet and corner in this sculpted titanium case by the most skilled artisan in Switzerland, who laboriously imprints a unique finish on each individual timepiece.
